New Years Day

Hi friends!

Today is a very special day. Today is New Years Day! I don't quite understand this holiday, but both of my humans are home, so I'll take it.  From what I understand, last night humans stay up really late and at midnight they yell "HAPPY NEW YEAR!" and kiss all mushy gushy. Sometimes they shoot the scary firework boomies, but luckily I didn't hear any of that last night.

At my house, only Mom stayed up, but I napped until right before time and woke Dad up when I hid under the bed in preparation for the yelling.

I'm a party animal on New Years Eve!

Today we are watching the Rose Bowl Parade...Well, Mom convinced Dad to turn that on for awhile to give her a break from The Twilight Zone marathon he's watching. There's lots of puppy dog floats so far! And horses! I love parades and horses, so I bet I'd love to be at this parade, too.

  3. You're lucky, Mister. Your parents stayed home. Mine went out and left me in jail. But I got to sleep on Mom's lap for a while after they got home. Happy New Year!
