Apparently Leap day only happens once every 28 years (that's dog years, of course). Hopefully everyone's people gave them a special treat to make them leap!
On another note, my worst fear happened today. There was a huge thunder boomie storm come through last night and today. It was terrible since Daddy is still in St. Louis and Mommy had to work a long day today. Mommy did give me an extra special treat though and I liked that a lot. Plus, she got off early today! Yippee! Happy Leap Day to me!
that leap thing is nutty

Isn't it? Humans are very nutty.

I'm sorry about the thunder boomies! I hate them too, so my people got me a Thundershirt & it works really well.

My mom has thought about getting me a Thundershirt. She thought it might help with my separation anxiety, too. Glad to know it helps you!

I don't like the thunder boomies either, Lola, my sister doesn't have enough sense to be afraid of them. Me, I hide and get as close to Mommy as I can.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm not sure about that leap thingy either. We just had a new baby born in our family (not Mom, some other fool that doesn't see dogs are a better choice)and I feel kind of sorry for the kid. Does it mean she will only get treats once every four years? Something just not right with that picture!
My people like watching "Modern Family" and one character was born on Leap Day. He pretended it was his tenth birthday, even though he was 40! BOL! I'm glad my Gotcha Day is in the summer. That comes every year!
